Idir Hamizi, member of Réseau Entreprendre 93, was the winner of Réseau Entreprendre’s Engagement Awards, which took place on November 23.
This first edition of the Engagement Awards was organized by Réseau Entreprendre and their media partners as a way of expressing their gratitude for the hard work and commitment of our volunteer mentors, the dedicated and enthusiastic business leaders who provide mentorship to Réseau Entreprendre’s talented laureates.
With an audience of over 700 business leaders in attendance, a jury consisting of Sofia Bengana (Figaro), Yves Vilagines (Echos), Maud Aigrain (BFM Business), Géraldine Russell (Maddyness) and Bruno Dubois (Sud Radio) awarded the “Volunteer of the year” prize to Idir Hamizi, founder of Restautraiteur and volunteer at Réseau Entreprendre 93.
He stated that his commitment and dedication comes from his “passion for entrepreneurship”
The two other finalists, Dominique Sarran and Christophe Deboffe, were warmly applauded by the crowd in the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin, where the ceremony took place. Christophe Deboffe, former laureate and current member of Réseau Entreprendre Nord, says that he began volunteering “To give back to the organization that gave me so much when I was starting my business.” Dominique Sarran, CEO of B. for Care and a member of Réseau Entreprendre Paris, explained that “even a little bit of help can be very valuable to the person you are helping.”
